Delta Difference and Above & Beyond Award Passes:

If you received and have any unused Delta Difference and Above & Beyond travel passes, please refer to the enclosed document for further details. Your unused Delta Difference passes will be held and managed by Endeavor Air and will not transfer to your new Delta Travel Net account unless you also received and have unused Above and Beyond passes and request Endeavor Pass Bureau to transfer them to your new PPR. To book Delta Difference after transfer to Delta, please reach out to the Endeavor pass travel department at Pass.Bureau@endeavorair.com or call 612-266-1450 to request an e-certificate for your passes. To request transfer of your unused Above & Beyond passes with any unused Delta Difference passes, please email Pass.Bureau@Endeavorair.com to request your passes to be transferred to your new Delta PPR.

If you are an EDV retiree, your Award passes will remain in your Travel Net account allowing you access to book the travel.

Retiree Pass Travel (if applicable):

If you have EDV retiree status and are hired by Delta you will retain your EDV retiree PPR and flight travel. During your employment at DL you will be issued a new DL PPR number for pass travel as a Delta employee.  Your pass travel seniority date while employed at DL will begin on your date of hire with Delta.

401(k) - Fidelity:

Information about your options will be available on www.401k.com or (866) 956-3451.

-          Access to your Endeavor 401(k) after transferring to Delta – As an employee of Delta or a Delta subsidiary, rollovers and distributions from your Endeavor account are generally prohibited by the IRS.   Instead, you may request a plan-to-plan transfer in order to keep your retirement funds together in your new Delta 401(k) plan, allow access for loan requests and to reduce plan maintenance fees. You may request a plan-to-plan transfer by contacting Fidelity at (866) 956-3451.

Annual 401(k) Contribution Limits in multiple plans:

When contributing to multiple retirement plans with different employers within the same tax year, please ensure that you do not exceed the IRS limits for that tax year. For 2024, employees under age 50 may contribute $23,000 and employees age 50 and over may contribute $30,500. The maximum TOTAL contributions (employee + employer match) is $69,000. Since your new employer will not have record of your contributions with Endeavor, it is your responsibility to ensure you do not exceed these limits.

-          Vesting and plan-to-plan transfers – Participants who are not fully vested at Endeavor at the time they request a plan-to-plan transfer will be fully vested upon transfer of the account regardless the years of service with Endeavor.

-          Loans – Participants with loans who choose to remain in the Endeavor plan may continue to make payments by setting up a monthly ACH payment through Fidelity directly from their bank account. Participants who move their account to their new Delta plan through a plan-to-plan transfer should expect to see their loan payment come out of their Delta paycheck. Participants who cease making payments on their 401(k) loans will eventually default, resulting in a tax liability and potential penalty on the outstanding loan balance.

-          Professional Managed Account Service – Participants who utilize Edelman Financial Engines to professionally manage their 401(k) investments within their Endeavor plan may coordinate with them to add their Delta plan once that account has been established. To do so, please contact Edelman Financial Engines at (800) 601-5957.

-          Maintaining Endeavor 401(k) Plan – Participants who wish to leave their balance within the Endeavor 401(k) plan are encouraged to periodically check/update beneficiaries by logging in to their account at www.401k.com or contacting Fidelity at (866) 956-3451. Addresses will be updated through Fidelity’s system based upon their active account (with Delta).
