What do I need to do? 

As manager, it is your job to notify your employee that they have been selected as an Endeavor's Elite honoree. This means they were nominated by their peers and selected as an honoree in recognition of their contributions to Endeavor's success.
This is a big deal! We recommend making their notification a special celebration of the employee to recognize them for this honor. Please plan to complete the notification by July 31. 

We will also appreciate your help in coordinating video footage of your honoree for the event. A member of the communications team will take video of your honoree in action as well as interview their peer who nominated them for the award.

The video will be presented as part of the award presentation. 

What should I bring to the notification surprise? 

Each manager will receive an Endeavor's Elite notification kit with supplies to help make the celebration special. It will contain a certificate, branded balloons, a banner, a tablecloth, confetti, commemorative lapel pin, their event invitation, and a copy of their peer-submitted nomination(s).

We highly encourage you to buy more decorations, cake, cupcakes, cookies and more for your big surprise. We want your employee to feel special and appreciated!

Where should I host the notification celebration? 

That is up to you and how comfortable your employee is with surprises! Some ideas include: surprising them at the gate, hosting a celebration in the crew room, reserving a conference room, decorating their office, etc.

If your employee isn't a fan of surprises, you can invite them out to dinner and have a smaller celebration there. 

Who should I invite to the surprise?

Invite your team, anyone your employee works with, their peers who submitted the nomination(s), and maybe even their family (not required). Again, the specifics of the surprise notification should be tailored to your particular honoree and what they will appreciate the most.

This year's celebration event will be held on October 2, 2025, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.

What should my employee's schedule look like the day of the event and the day after?

If your employee is traveling to MSP for the event, flights will be booked for them based on availability. Plan on your employee not being able to work on 10/2 and 10/3.  Crew members should plan to bid off on those days; if they are scheduled to work, please work with them to adjust their schedules to accommodate the event. 

If your honoree is local to MSP, you may choose to give them 10/2 and 10/3 off of work if it works for your team. Please plan to release them from work by 2:00pm to allow them time to check in at the hotel and get ready for the event.
